Serving Pecan Square, Harvest, and every new community growing along the 114 corridor. New homes deserve new-home clean — and we keep them that way — serving all of 76247 and 76262.
Northlake (76247 and 76262) is one of the fastest-growing communities in the DFW Metroplex. The Pecan Square master-planned development alone has added thousands of homes in the last few years, and Harvest is right behind it. That means brand-new Hardie board siding, fresh concrete driveways, and cedar fences that look perfect on move-in day — and start collecting North Texas dust, red clay, and construction residue within months.
The open terrain along Highway 114 creates a wind tunnel effect that coats exteriors faster than neighborhoods with mature tree canopy. Most Northlake homeowners need their first professional cleaning within 6 to 12 months of moving in, and annual maintenance after that.
CARE serves Northlake regularly with siding and stucco soft washing, driveway pressure washing, fence staining, gutter cleaning, and weekly lawn care. We know what new construction in this area needs, and we adjust our approach for fresh concrete, uncured siding, and newly planted landscaping.

"Moved into Pecan Square last fall and the driveway was already stained from construction. CARE had it looking brand new. They also soft-washed the siding without touching our new landscaping."
"Our HOA recommended CARE for fence staining. They did the entire backyard fence in one day — wash, dry, stain. Looks incredible and the price was fair."
"Started weekly mowing with CARE this spring. Same guy every week, knows our yard, sharp edges every time. Night and day from the last company."
CARE serves these and other communities across the full North Fort Worth service area.
Northlake is defined by new construction. The Pecan Square, Harvest, Canyon Falls, and The Ridge at Northlake master-planned communities have added thousands of homes in the last several years, and development continues at a rapid pace. Newer subdivisions like Wildflower Ranch, Stardust Ranch, Harvest Meadows, Creek Meadows, and Prairie View Farms are growing alongside them. That ongoing construction generates persistent airborne dust that settles on every exterior surface in the area. Unlike cities with mature tree canopy that filters and slows particulate, Northlake's open terrain along the 114 corridor acts as a wind tunnel, channeling dust directly onto fresh siding, new concrete, and recently stained fences.
New construction presents cleaning challenges that differ from established homes. Fresh concrete driveways are still curing for the first year and require different pressure settings than aged concrete. Hardie board siding has factory finishes that can be scratched by overly aggressive technique. New cedar fences have not yet been stained and are vulnerable to UV graying within the first season of sun exposure. Our soft-wash siding cleaning uses surfactant-based solutions that safely lift construction dust and red clay without damaging new finishes. We recommend early fence staining for Northlake homeowners to protect their investment before UV damage sets in.
Northlake's heavy Denton County clay soil also demands attention. New lawns installed on graded clay compact rapidly under foot traffic and mowing equipment, restricting root growth and creating thin, patchy turf. Our core aeration service breaks up that compaction, allowing water and nutrients to reach root systems. Combined with proper mowing height for the Bermuda turf prevalent in Northlake, aeration transforms new lawns from struggling sod into established, dense turf.
Spring (March through May): The best time for Northlake house washing and driveway cleaning. Winter winds deposit heavy dust loads from surrounding construction. Schedule cleaning in March or April for the longest-lasting results before summer heat. Bermuda lawns green up in April for the first mow, pre-emergent weed treatment, and spring fertilization. New homeowners who moved in during fall should schedule their first professional cleaning now.
Summer (June through August): Weekly mowing is essential for establishing new Bermuda lawns. Fence staining is ideal in summer when cedar dries quickly and stain cures properly in warm conditions. We schedule morning appointments to avoid peak heat.
Fall (September through November): A second driveway and house cleaning may be needed if nearby construction generated heavy dust through summer. Fall is the best window for core aeration on Northlake's compacted clay. Gutter cleaning in late November, even on new homes, catches construction debris and early leaf accumulation.
Winter (December through February): Pre-holiday cleaning in December. Winter is a good time for roof soft washing on homes that have developed algae in their first or second year. CARE operates Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM year-round.
New construction, open-terrain wind exposure, and rapid development create exterior maintenance challenges unique to the 114 corridor.
Active construction in Pecan Square, Harvest, and Canyon Falls generates persistent airborne dust that bonds to fresh Hardie board and masonry within months. This fine construction particulate is harder to remove than typical atmospheric dust and requires proper surfactant chemistry to lift cleanly without scratching factory finishes.
Northlake’s open terrain along Highway 114 channels particulate from active construction zones across the residential areas. Homes in Pecan Square and Wildflower Ranch that face prevailing south-to-north winds collect dust and red clay on siding faster than any sheltered DFW community. Without a tree canopy windbreak, this dust arrives unfiltered.
Fresh Hardie board, new brick mortar, and recently painted surfaces all have factory finishes or cure states that can be scratched or damaged by high pressure. Northlake homes need soft-wash chemistry at low pressure, not the settings appropriate for aged concrete. We calibrate every job to the surface age and material present.
New concrete driveways in Northlake sit on disturbed red clay subgrade from grading operations. Foot traffic, tire marks, and runoff from nearby active construction embed red clay into concrete pores before it fully cures. First-year driveway cleaning in Northlake produces some of the most dramatic transformations we deliver.
Without stain protection, new cedar fences in Northlake go from golden to gray within 90–120 days. North Texas UV bleaches unstained cedar to ash-gray in a single season. Early staining within 3–6 months of fence installation is the only way to preserve original color and prevent UV penetration deep into the wood fiber.
Even new homes in Northlake accumulate construction debris — mortar dust, wood chips, and fine particulate — in gutters during their first year. Downspouts on new homes can pack with construction dust that looks clean from outside but completely blocks flow internally. Annual gutter inspection is essential even on homes under two years old.
Builder-graded Denton County clay and new-construction soil disturbance create lawn challenges that standard maintenance programs are not designed to address.
New lawns in Northlake are installed on builder-graded clay that was compacted by heavy construction equipment. This mechanically compressed clay restricts root growth to 2–4 inches rather than the 6–8 inch depth that produces drought-tolerant, dense turf. Early core aeration in year one or two is critical before the hardpan becomes permanent.
New sod benefits from its first core aeration within the first growing season — typically fall of year one or spring of year two. Waiting creates a hardpan layer that becomes progressively more difficult to penetrate and more expensive to restore. We recommend first aeration at 8–12 months after sod installation on Northlake’s compacted clay subgrade.
Builder-installed sod depletes its starter fertilizer within 60–90 days. After that, Northlake lawns need a full 5-round program: pre-emergent plus nitrogen in early spring, summer iron plus broadleaf control, summer nitrogen, fall potassium boost, and winter preparation. Without this schedule, new lawns thin noticeably by year two.
Construction grading brings dormant weed seeds to the surface throughout Northlake’s development areas. New lawns lack the density needed to crowd out weeds competitively. Pre-emergent herbicide prevents crabgrass and broadleaf weed establishment during years one and two, when turf is most vulnerable to weed invasion on disturbed native soil.
New Bermuda sod on compacted clay requires frequent short irrigation cycles rather than deep infrequent watering. The clay cannot absorb water fast enough for deep cycles, so water pools and runs off. Multiple short cycles allow proper absorption. Shifting to deeper cycles as roots establish prevents the drought stress that kills Northlake sod in its first summer.
New construction landscaping in Northlake goes in on disturbed clay subgrade without the organic matter that established landscapes have built over decades. Young trees and shrubs need supplemental watering, proper mulching, and iron supplementation to establish on Northlake’s alkaline clay. Without targeted support, young plantings fail at high rates in years two and three.
Northlake homes in Pecan Square and Harvest carry purchase prices of $350K–$600K+ in a competitive market where comparable homes are cleaned, maintained, and HOA-compliant. New construction value deteriorates faster than established-home value when visible maintenance issues appear in years one through three. First-year cleaning sets the maintenance standard.
Northlake’s master-planned communities enforce strict HOA standards on siding condition, fence appearance, and lawn quality. Homes that fall behind face violation notices that become disclosure items at sale. Annual cleaning and maintenance eliminates this risk and keeps your property competitive against the constant flow of new inventory in this growth market.
Year 1: driveway cleaning plus soft wash plus fence staining within first 6–12 months. Ongoing: annual soft wash, two gutter cleanings, weekly mowing April–October, fall aeration plus fertilization. CARE coordinates the full maintenance calendar for Northlake homeowners who want professional results without managing individual service schedules.
